These were part of the exhibition Veni, Vidi, Vici. In the wake of the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires, the last known Ledbeater’s Possum habitat was decimated in Marysville, Victoria. I thought it’d be a macabre way to bring awareness to the plight of the endangered possum (State emblem of Victoria, Australia).
